New user, need feedback!

Hi!

Just finished my first pop-song with a buddy some days ago, and would really like some feedback!
I've just placed it under the pop genre in my head, any other ideas?

Hi CoffeeCooper,

Sounds cool. Nice use of synths and effects.

Personally, I find the synths a little too loud/forefront. I'd have given slightly more weight to the rhythm guitar in the mix than those effects. I'd also put a little more reverb tail on those effects to make it sit more into the background.

I'd also probably have made the FX on the vocals more wide in the stereo field - I'd maybe double-track them.

Other than that, I'd say generally it's a pretty decent mix.
