New tune...5 hours

I can't remember but it seems like there was some talk about having 5 hour mix thread or something. Anyhow I did this tune in that time frame and I'm posting it to get some feedback.

It's a dry mix, have done no compression, no raising of levels or anything. Just a basic little instrumental that's probably too long! lol....At the break where the song picks up tempo I have a dumb little drum roll. I don't know if I like it so any suggestions on what I can do with that appreciated.

This is a cool tune idea but it gets a bit repetitive. Some lyrics would help out.

I never really thought about vocals on it but after you mentioned that I started thinking about it a little more. I need to work on breaking up the drums some more...that would help me to put another change or two in. I'm using Fruity and I'm no Fruity Master like some guys in this clinic.

My Bass tracks had some nasty spikes that I'm fixing too. But this tune may very well start to evolve.

I love the 5 hour song idea. It seems for me if I can't get it down while I'm still 'feeling' the song then it doesn't sound as good, or I lose interest. Of course it seems to sound better with a little more thought put into it, so it's acomprimise over all I guess. Try to keep the soul of spontanaity while making it sound profesional.
