Hey everyone,

Heres my new one, hope you guys like it.
all feedback is welcome!

I know a few times my vocals are slightly out of tune, and I know that the guitars are out a few times in the build up. I'll be fixing it a bit later.

I have it on myspace and facebook.
Quality is quite crap on myspace >< I don't know how I can upload and not get myspace to convert it at all... if anyone knows please let me know!
If you can't access either, leave your e-mail here and I'll email it to you.

Give me an add on both if you can :)

Thanks
Daniel

no one can go on myspace or facebook?

I'll put it on soundclick today then.

i think you could add drums... the rest sounds fine to me... except for those untuned parts that you previously described.

Thanks for the feedback.
I would have loved to have drums and a bass.

but I don't have the equipment and space to record drums here and I'm not a fan of fake drums.

cheers though

Hey, I really like the sound you've got going, and I really like the song.

No complaints as far as the mix or anything goes.

Hey, hows it goin?

Like the song you posted, sounds solid composition wise and I think it will be great once you fix the spots mentioned above. You may also want to look at the second guitar track that comes in at 1:00, timing wise. Other than that, sounds good.

I listened to this song last month. Got mixed feelings about your song.
Saw this thread active, so I thought I would check it out again.

1) This is a very good song and well played. Be very proud.
2) I don't like your vocals. My own Vocals are my downfall. Just my opinion.

Nice job bro. Everything sounds great. Just a small small fix on the vocal tunes would make it even greater.

I really really like how you isolated your sounds though. No hiss at ALLL.

It all sounds pretty nice. A few more vocal takes wouldn't have hurt, to get it more squeaky clean on pitch, but you pointed that out already.

I like the electric parts with delay, that's a nice touch. I detect some minor strumming/timing issues on the acoustic. With an arrangement this spare, you need to be dead nuts or it will be noticeable. Are you using a click? If not, you should.

Since "Leah" is my daughter's name, I had to check this out.

You did some things very right, Daniel, and some things really wrong.

While it's forgivable to have a few stray pitch problems with the vocal, it's completely unacceptable to have all the parts playing out of time w/ each other. You should REALLY tighten that up, for it makes "the band" sound loose to the point of amatuerish, and you've got such a good start on this.

Your core arrangement, outside of the performance challenges, is very good. The middle section, where you go into the long reverb vocal, works perfectly.

On the whole, this is quite a bit far from where it should be; but mostly, it's a matter of tightening the performance. The rest of the components, the writing, arrangement and recording, are pretty solid.
