Gun - There's a lot of top end, a really deep bottom end but really nothing in between. You need to re EQ to get a full sound.
As you know I don't like gratuitous use of violence or swearing so I'll leave it at the tonal requirements.
 
will software eq(aa 2.1) do the trick? or should i use a plug in, I have t-racks and ozone.........
I did a minor cut in the lows but i was afraid it would take out he little bit of drums I used......
I been told the mic I use mxl 990 has no mids. just high and lows.

Swearings OK for whoever likes to use it - I don't that's all. Yep Software EQ will do fine. The mic obviously had its effect then.
The scooped mids is GREAT for giving a bass or bass synth some definition when it's fighting with other mid heavy stuff for space. Also gives a great aggressive sound (check out the bass on any stranglers song). Not so cool when there's nothing there to fight.
I lift the mids on the bass & your voice - perhaps in slightly diff freq's to see if you can fill in the middle ground.
Good recording apart from the EQ.
You really need to find a mic OR an EQ setting that suits your voice. You can download some mic simulators as well to alter what you have.
 
i got one a antares modular i wasnt sure about using it, you put the source mic in one side and the mic you want in the other. it doesnt have my mic on the list. i thought it was a cheazy plug in, it can simulate rode,shures,akg, most popular brands.

yeah man, I did it all the rapping,mixing,beat,writing,
my mixing usualy the weakest link but im getting better.
I got a couple disses bout g-unit then mobb deep came out with a album cover simalar to mine. So now its personal.

well since i have no iddea what im talking about. from a listeners point of view i think the vocals need to be louder. it seems a little quiet.

Im just tired of gimmick rappers, game aint about skillz no more just wich company backs you.

Ill turn up the vocals a tad when I lower the bass it might even out.
I havent tried to play it on a cd player yet, Wanted some feedback first.
