new set up

I am having problems setting up some dj equipment to my compter. This is what I got: G4 Power Mac, Audiophile 2496 sound card, Cake Walk Metro 5 program, Two Technic 1200's, DJM 600 mixer, and a home reciever that I use for sound. Basically I need step by step instructions on how to get setup to work. Ive been trying to read the manual but its not really any help. My final goal is to be able to record from my turntables to my computer and make my own cd's. If anyone can help I would greatly appriciate it.
 
You need to run your turntables phono out's into the phono preamps of your mixer and then use the stereo line out's of your mixer to go into your sound card.

After the sound card I can't help you. :(
 
i just got done trying to get this cluster to work with no luck! can anyone help?
 
this is how its set up, i got my tables going into phono jacks on my mixer , the reciever is in out 1 on my mixer so i can get sound to my speakers and i have the master rec out to my sound card on my mac. this sucks i just wish this crap would work!
