Hell yeah it will, it's one of the single biggest things you can do to make a dramatic improvement to your sound. It gets overlooked a lot cuz panels don't have knobs and faders, so there's no real 'wow' factor there. You lose a lot of the 'boxy' sound so many HR'ers have. Especially if you're in a smallish room, like practically all of us

A dynamic mike will be fine

I suppose it depends on what you mean by 'PA mic' and 'will work'. A shitty $30 musiciansfriend mic with last gig's beer spilled in it might technically 'work'.. An sm-58 in good condition would 'work' a lot better, so as you can see, there are varying degrees of 'work'.

exactly.

and also remember that sometimes that 30 dollar crap mic could sound better than an 80 dollar mic.
i remember when i first started i bought a shure pg-57 thinking it would sound almost as good as a shure sm-57. later on i got a free 10 dollar mic with a mic stand i bought and wouldnt you know it, it sounded better than the 70 dollar shure microphone.

so always remember to try gear as much as possible before you buy it and if theres no way to try the gear then read LOTS and LOTS of reviews first

For vox we have an SM58 and a couple PG58's we use with my PA, am I to assume that's what you use too then? That'll be fine.

I don't know those mikes.

But . . . you plug them in, do a bit of recording, and see what you get. You may or may not like the results . . . if you don't like what you hear, look for something better.
