Dat's BAD!

Sounds very 'live'. It's great. How was this recorded? Is it a cover or your own tune?

I love it.

I'd ask for the mp3 but I'm a hotmail user (limited to 2000KB or something like that)

thanks,i recorded it live to 8 tracks of adat, then mixed and mastered in the ole pc with cool edit pro and soundforge.......

strmkr,

I couldn't get hifi to play without breaking up. Lofi played fine but it sounds like the noise reduction was reaking havoc with the cymbals. Good song and a very good recording. I could tell the hifi was better,no weird cymbals, but it was unlistenable.

Good work,
Rusty K

thanx rusty,i don't know a lot about the ins and outs of mp3 encoding yet,so the hi fi thing might be either the encoding or the connection.i am on a phone line on the edge of town,so i can't really even play hi fi to test it.glad you liked the tune, and any hints you have on the mp3 encocding and such would be greatly appreciated....peace

strmkr,

Hey man I've been having my own problems with it. I do stream Real Audio from my bands webpage but I'm in the process of learning to stream mp3's. Saves time for people trying to give a listen. But you know that.

You might take a look at my thread down the page a bit,"Good storage space for my Mp3's". If you follow all the responses there may be some helpful suggestions there for you.

I play in an R&B band and I have links to a couple of songs in the first post. Should you decide to take a listen, as you will gather from the responses, my Mp3's are not without problems. They will be very long downloads depending on the speed of your connection. I'm not going to mess with them however until I'm ready to stream.

Good luck,
Rusty K

Cool. I had no problem with the hifi play. Excellent performance. I wanted the lead vocal and lead guitar to be a little more prominent -- a tad too much compression, perhaps?
