crawdad - thanks for the heads up on the 3:1 rule...and thanks for listening

Fangar - i was actually using a heavy pick...i guess it's the way i'm playing

Strat - thanks for listening...i'll try one on the 12 fret like you said next....

Sabbath - thanks for coming back to it after the bad stream i was getting.....i love acoustic zeppelin...so i'll take that as a compliment

That was really very beautifully done! At around :15 I could feel the vocals want to kick in. At around 1:00 it seems to go back into the soul of the song. Maybe a good place for the chorus? Your the second dude here that I have observed who really knows how to play their guild! Wonderful job!

Terriel - thanks for the suggestions....after some of the feedback, i'm thinking of turning this one into a vocal song after i flesh out the parts.....

remco - i did use a software compressor, so that might be what you're talking about....i'll look into that, thanks

I like the title :)

I really like 012's. I like to use them in a pair if the song is acoustic based, but they work well in mono too for other situations.

The harmonics are cutting through nicely. As for EQ, try to find mic positions that eliminate the need for EQ. The 012's are very wind sensitive (boomy) so if you ride the sound hole with it you'll probably need to cut a shitload of low mids out. The more original signal you can keep the better the acoustic will sound!

But this does sound great and will get even better the more you get used to them.
