Hi, Everyone

So very soon I'm going to build a home studio in my house, I wanted to get some advice on the rack equipment (and monitors) I'm planning on using for it.

this is not the signal chain, I'm just listing the pieces randomly.

Looks fun.
The interface looks great. The monitors look great. Get good cables, keep it simple and get a nice foundation of the power receptacle port, so the noises will be reduced as you add more and more gear.

I would pass on the outboard until you recorded some stuff. Outboard vs ITB is a choice, with minor differences imo. Trade offs...
The MPA II is a dual, the compressor and eq you show are mono/single. Billie E/brother Finn just got 5 grammys on that Focusrite Line of interface in a pretty sparse bedroom space....an example of really knowing how to use the gear you have and a lot of years of practrice, AT2020 $80 mic...and ITB plugins galore.
