Can't wait to learn how to use it, and sorry about the windchimes, but I had the windows and door open to air out the basement from a little leakage that came in yesterday. Info on the guitar is in the cave in the "look what I got" thread.

Are you using a mic or is that direct?

As allways your stuff just strikes a chord with me. Sounded great !

Dennis

PS turn up the drums just a little bit...just a little.

it's direct. I know I need to learn how to tweak the onboard electronics. And there was no drums, so they would really need a volume boost, or were you joshing.

I heard a rhythm track in the background.... Maybe I'm going crazy. I'll listen again

Dennis

SHIT... I listened to "NOW" not "Now with the new guitar" Sorry.

damn, maybe you is going crazy.

:D Yea....

OK, at least now I have a reference. Still sounded good just dfferent with the direct. I let the "pros" comment about settings and stuff. Sorry about the confusion.

Dennis

PS I thought the windchimes were cool...

Way cool, Dan... does this mean I get the Martin? heheheh

I bet this toy will sound killer with a mic'ed track blended in with the direct track.

Proud of ya, bro!

How do you get something posted in the clinic so damn fast? I'm still trying to untangle the cords...

sounds cool dtb..

it almost sounded like it started off a little rough.. I was waiting for the drums to begin, but they didn't.. still a good song though.. I think it would sound good without the bass too..

pg, yeah, the Martin's yours. NOT. he he he Can't wait to try some of that. I thought of doing stuff like that when I started looking for th A/C.

Tree, I'm smart as Roel. NOT.

thanks B., yeah, one take trying to get a tune on with the guitar.

JR, thanks, new toys are the spice of life.

That is really a capital sound. every string and note has the same full quality of tone. Its not quite as warm and woody sounding as the other one but it is surely smooth and grand!!! :)

Sounds good. Can't wait to hear it mic'd. May be a contender for me down the road for my next acoustic. I need something with a good acoustic tone. Hurry up an mic it already so I can hear it :D.

smoke, thanks.

Toki, yeah, no way it'll do what the Martin does. I do like the fact that it doesn't have that big boom. There's a lot of times when the boom is too much.

Jag, that's my next trick. Getting it tracked mic'ed and direct.

I liked this song before too. So did my girlfriend.

Is the guitar running direct? I usually don't like direct accoustics, but this seems to work pretty well. But it's your voice that makes this tune for me.

Great tune dtb! The new gtr sounds purdy...what is it? I'm not going in the cave to find out (it's a war zone in there). Man you sound alot like "Cat Stevens' in this! Great stuff as alway's from you!

I remember this tune - I like.
Guitar sounds really good, but does have a direct sound to it. It'll sound really nice when you mic it.
Bass sounds really good by the way.
Enjoy that new geetar!

SLiuCe, yes, my first A/C guitar, so it's also my first direct run, with an acoustic. I liked it cause I could sing while I played and didn't have to worry about screwing up the lyrics. Then I did the vocals, which again is sumpin new for me to work on. Ain't new toys the bomb? And many thanks to yo girlfriend.

David, thanks man.

fprod, thanks, and yeah some new stuff to work on with the new toy. I'm thinking tracking direct and mic'ed, to two seperate tracks to see how that stacks up.

I did get to try it out last night, plugged into my little 30 watt Park amp, in the clean channel, and was quite suprised. We had a keyboard, bass, harp, and some singging, running thru my little baby pa system, and everyone seemed to be able to hear everyone. Did something I've never done before too. I put the two pa speakers on a crate about a foot off the floor. With everyone sitting down (which is different). we could hear everything really good.

later dudes.
