New Guitar/Garage sale deal

My In laws bought this at a garage sale this weekend..$5.00. Yes FIVE DOLLARS. The action is pretty average, but it is like new. Just a few minor dings in the finish. I think these only go for about $100 new. Also came with a gig bag. Brand is SX. It says "Vintage Series, Custom Handmade" on the headstock. yeah, right...... .

You lucky duck. SX guitars are good at 100 dollars! I want to get my hands on a Douglas Pisces bass at some point.

I just got a SX -sg copy, vintage yellow- from kidcage and it is wonderful!! I gave it to my youngest daughter and it has inspired three new song out of her.
Also in the deal was a Les Paul -copy, sun burst- that my middle son has been shedding on. And that's it. No new songs, just riffing out.

That's one thing I hate about my area (great Boston) - no one ever has instruments for sale at their garage sales, they put them on craigslist first for ridiculous prices (and then bargain down), so there are never any 'deals' at the sales.

I have had my SX P bass for 12 years and it's a great bass.......good score man.
