new electronic - alternativeish song im working on

Dude...I like this.....I hear several influences in it...and you got a nice meld of that. Quality is pretty good to me. Vocals have some nice grit, and there seems to be a good spread of all the sounds. Nice and dirty man...I like it.

A few different bands spring to mind while listening to this including a bit of Roxette....and some heavier metal stuff too....

It a great tune... I like the cool interaction between the raunchy guitars, electronica keyboards and drums.

I also like the way the vocals are recorded with two different "singers" with a sort of "call and response" interaction.

The mix is pretty good on my headphones, eveything sitting nicely in the spectrum and easy to make out the various parts.....

This is Coming along just fine - no problems.....

I didn't know anybody remembered Roxette anymore.

Does sound like the Roxette guy. Also the music itself sounds somewhat similar in the beginning.

Like the little electronic sounds at 1:04.

Cool guitar sounds man.

Very Bon Jovi'sh in places. Somewhat Drain STH dragging style of singing with higher double vox.

Pretty cool man. I prefer rosy and happy dappy Sandra Bullock in a pink dress kind of happy lyrics. But as long as this makes you happy. :)

The mix sounds really nice. I could find anything out of place. :)
 
i think the guitars need to come up a little but thats just preference i guess
 
Dogman - thanks for listening man.. Yeah alot of odd stuff I listen to seems to pop out when writing sometimes, I've got to wonder if maybe too much sometimes lol

Bigbubba - Thanks a ton for checking it out man.. I can right there with ya sometimes I do a nice amount of acoustic happier songs when not working on this type of stuff.

Hey, I like this!

And I'm happy with it just as it is.

I've recently packed my guitars and recording gear into some boxes and sent them to the other side of the world -- literally. I'm just left with one little Alesis analog synth. And although it's fun to doodle with, I'm stuck trying to work out how to turn that into songs. You've just given me some inspiration.

Excellent Gary, really an in your face good mix to my ears. Nothing sticks out to me as needing improvement. The bass sound at 2:00 sounds awesome on my system... nice electronic work too. Haunting part at 2:41 :cool:
