Whoa! I was able to afford a new computer! Does this mean that i have to re-purchase reaper, or can i transfer it somehow?

You should be fine to just install it, enter your registration key and carry on like before.

Check that your new 'puter (if Windows...) is the same bits (32 vs 64) as your old one before you install it... you may need to download a different version.

Being as the reaper folks are awesome, they use the honor system for licensing. Your license key is indefinitely transferable; they trust you not to pirate it.

k great, i just cant figure out how to transfer it. there doesn't seem to be any option for that anywhere... also i went from windows to mac, hopefully that doesnt make a difference.

You would have to download it & re-install it on the Mac. Reaper Download Page Your Registration code should work cross platform but I can't guarantee it.

You could ask on the Reaper Forum. There's a useful bunch knocking around :D
