Anyone heard about, or tried, the new V Amp from Behringer?
The industry is buzzing with news of a new amp modelling unit from Behringer called the V-Amp, which shares more than a passing familiarity with Line 6's most famous product. A small blue guitar-shaped box in deep blue, the modelling FX unit is the closest alternative to the Line 6 kidney yet released, echoing both the concept and design of the original. It's due to sell for around £170, and you learn more by telephoning 0049 2154 920 6555.
I was going to buy the POD, but if this is a fair alternative, I'll buy this instead. It's a lot cheaper ;)

Smooth!

Looks like behringer are one to a biggie here...

It's looks cool, and cheaper than the POD too!!! (always a good thing)

I wouldnt mind me one of these babies.....

ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha............. .......cough..... cough.......

seriously though we should all remember these guys in our prayers since they will no doubt be killed by their exploding behringer amp as soon as they plug it in.

just joking with you guys. but i will give you fair warning, behringer is generally disliked around here. but if you like it thats all that matters (just try it out REAL hard before you get one).

I guess they should spend the money they save to buy wirelesses then. ;)

NO matter what...

No matter what you do, and how hard you try... that POD will never sound better than a nice tube amp through a real Celestion vintage 30. Save some more money and buy a used head or combo amp and a beta 57. A good recording starts with good tone.
I have a Mesa Rectifier :)
How I love her....
Peace,
Paul
