The guy that owns/is FMR Audio and Rupert are friends I hear, I believe Rupert even said so in an interview. At $200/channel vs $700+/channel, I believe they're different beasts. They're both kinda cute, tho (the preamp's that is ).
Oh, and I asked RND about the "wall wart". It's a boa, like the reviewer said, is like the brick kind of power supply you get with a notebook computer.
