At a studio I'd had a part time gig at doing some recording work in Van Nuys, when I lived out in L.A. area in 03, they had the AES version of this device in there and I thought it had some nice legs.
Had Kelly Ashton written all over it (speaking of Van Nuys, that is..heh heh ... ).
As far as I know, these things list for like 1100 something USD. You can probably find 'em about 8 or less if ya look around a bit. Try some of the on line stores up on EBAY for instance. Sometimes ya can grab a DEAL there.
