Wow man, very very nice. So these preamps have enough juice for ribbons too? I can't wait to get a Davisound preamp!

With four I could almost do my whole kit seeing as I have only been micing with 5 mics lately, and many times I don't even need the snare mic. Oh the possibilities. . . and it comes in a nice wooden box to top it all off.

Great stuff man, and thanks for the info.

Glad ya like it...
The "Mic-All" pres have max. gain of +58dB. Not exactly 70dB of gain, typical of preamps used with ribbon mics, but it holds it's own even at 50dB of gain with a s/n of 80dB (or an EIN of about -121dBU) and at 55dB of gain, THD of 008% at 20 KHZ.

Of course, 40dB of gain and below has a theoretical THD of .0008 and at Unity, a s/n of 123dB.

Yeah, I can't wait to get a chance to mike-up a whole drum set entirely with DaviSound "Mic-All" preamps! Unfortunately, I won't get that chance until late Fall or otherwise, not until early Spring!

I went and had a looksee at the DaviSound Web Presence. They sell the TB-6 for $950. That's around £600 U.K. Which is £150 per channel. Add on VAT and Import duty and it comes to, around, £744 (sans Carriage), which is £186 per channel. Still pretty good. Thank God I don't have the cash to get stricken by Gear Lust!
