Need old Tascam 244 for parts

Hi
I have an old Tascam 244 I am trying to repair and someone drilled out(ruined) some holes in the metal housing that supports the drive motor. I need to find an old unit that has this bracket in it as Tascam does not supply "non wearing" parts like this. Any old retired 244 will work! Thanks

I might have something for'ya.

I have several nice 244's in working condition, and one "fixer" unit that would probably be better as parts. The flaws on it are the case/cracked, the belts/shot, and the erase head/mangled. I'd fix e'thing myself, but I think the erase head is a high cost item, as yet TBD. My cost + shipping, & it's yours. Los Angeles area. PM me. Thanx. ;)

ALT: You can always find low cost 244's on Ebay as fixers,... as I did,... at minmal cost.

Anyway, since I have [6] 244's, I think I could stand to part with this one. This may be the best deal going, 'cause my friends could tell'ya, I never sell ANYTHING! PM me. Thanx.

I'm still waiting for the day when your resistance breaks down a bit and you sell me one of your prized 234's! :o
