Im tring to get more realistic sounds to midi to a mpc 4000
I was wondering if I should buy another keyboard maybe a karma
I already own a korg triton or should I buy a good module
which would give me more for the money and convience help thanx.

Did you fill up all the EXB Slots in your Triton?
Did you install the MOSS Board yet?
Can you make your own?

If it's just sounds you need I would try those three questions first. :D

Just my $.02

The Karma wouldn't be my first choice for realistic sounds.

Try the Yamaha Motif series.

.

If you have a triton and want more realistic sounds, a karma should be the last board for you to buy. They have the exact same patches. The difference is in the features. I'd either get a motif rack or roland xv for more bread and butter sounds

I'd look into a Yamaha Motif rack. Classic was pretty darn good, the "ES" newer one is even better.

You do have the option of the Korg EXB expansion boards as well - depends on what type of realistic sounds you're looking for. For pianos, I wouldn't bother. I loved my old Triton, but got it realizing I probably wouldn't obtain a ton of realistic sounds. I bought it for one purpose - textures, synths, etc.

reason 3.0 or a motif es rack. both good choices. i been seeing them on ebay for 650-875 lately since the cristmas season son. i am waiting for mine to arrive still from sweetwater. i can't wait. but reason 3.0 is what i been using along side my micron and mad samples. peace and good luck choosing

Have you considered Arturia's Moog Modular, comes with a lot of presets, and infinite possibilities if u have the time to learn the patches. Reason 3 is a good bet too, u can have all the synths your computer can handle. Just keep racking them up till your processor overloads!

Thanks everybody I think im going to check out the yamahah motif es
Iv'e been doing the research on them & also taking your
advice peace out.
