Please suggest an 8 Preamp Audio Interface for Drums - Good Quality - 2024

I'm not sure how you accomplish this. Yes, it's in the startup list, like other programs to load, like printer drivers, graphics control programs, etc. In the 30 seconds that it takes for my system to boot up, the driver and mixer panel is loaded. V4.00.0064, Firmware 2.00.0022. The only real issue that I've had (~4 yrs with this driver) was when I plugged in an HDMI cable, and inadvertently knocked the USB cable loose. I started getting crackling, and losing connectivity. I thought the interface was going. When I went to test on my laptop, I moved the case and the USB cable literally fell out. Plugged it back in and all was well again.

But whatever works for your system is fine. Windows systems differ. I've seen things work on system 1 and not on system 2.

It's not a deal breaker, just a PITA when I'm not thinking.
Some things keep me up at night. This ain't one of them.
