Suck 'em and see!
Totaly new to this end of things, I've never recorded midi anything.

I think I'm looking for a midi keyboard I can hook up to my Delta 1010 where I can use it to play and record VSTi's in Cubase SX

I'd like something with weighted keys if possible. Maybe something older I could pick up used from eBay.

As I say, I'm totaly new to this so I may be way off track. Any help and/or advice would be greatly taken on board.

Sounds like you're looking for a controller. How many keys? Full piano (88)?
Will 76 keys do? 49?

Wnating weighted keys narrows down the cheaper field considerably.

Look for older Fatar or Studiologic controllers.

The new CME line is nice.

What is your budget?

Yeah I think it's just a controler I want. I don't need sounds programmed into it.

I'd probably like more than 49 keys

weighted keys isn't a must

Something used and cheap as it's just for experamenting with

Thanks for the quick reply and suggestions. I'll have a search on your recomendations.

Excellent! I'd be all over that......

that'll do the job very nicely.
