Functionally obsessed.
Hello all,

It's been a long time... I'm looking for a replacement 200K reverse audio taper pot for my M208.

Each input PCB has one of these for selecting the midrange frequency to cut or boost... it's the third pot from the top of the channel, after Gain/Trim and HF EQ.

These pots are almost impossible to find new and I'm wondering if someone here has a spare M208/M216 input PCB, or if they have a spare one of these pots laying around...

Anyone?

Thank you!!

Hey, Jeff. Hope you are well. The only spares I have are from M-300 and M-500 series consoles. Let me see if there are any common pots. I’m thinking it’s a long shot since the pots are stacked on those consoles. But I’ll look.

What’s happened with the one you need replaced?

Hey Corey, hope you are well too. I still stay current on your repair threads even though I don't post :)

These are single, non-stacked pots, if "non-stacked" is a word.

I bought the mixer in rough shape about 6-7 years ago, and it had this one bad pot. I'm finally getting around to fixing it. The Mid EQ is stuck on one frequency, and turning the pot has no effect. There's also a ground hum in the audio signal when I touch the metal housing/shell, which doesn't happen on any other pot on the board.

Cleaning the pot had no effect, and some kind of 2-3mm nylon/teflon disc came out of it when I blasted it with DeoxIT... I assume it was one of the pieces of the pot...

Yeah maybe it got something dropped on it or something. I’ll see if I have anything.
