Ok i have recently moved into my new home and now ready to turn my room above the garage into my personal studio. I searched everywhere for tips on attacking this type of design but came across nothing. So any help is greatly appreciated. I am wanting to record vocals in the open room. Have a closet but dont want to use such small area for vocals. Bass traps? Auralex foam? Or any other thing for the walls to give me clean vocals? Pics of the room design attached. The room is 12 ft x 16 ft with the ceiling approximately 3 1/2 ft. slanted area 6ft, and the sides 4ft.

Thanks for the response Ethan. About to take a look at this right now.

So exactly where will i be putting the bass traps? above the curtain, on the bottom section of wall and do i put a trap on the slanted area of the wall also?
