ok, i will make some changes in my bedroom, where i pratice/record with my band, and i wanted to get some help cuz i dont know much about acoustic and stuff and i kinda dont know where to start...

first of all..... i will buy those waved plaques of "sponje" u know what i mean? i dont know how to spell it but i think u guys know what im talking about, those plaques that covers the studio walls to avoid reverd and to isolate the sound and stuff...

well my first question is.... should i put that ALL AROUND my walls??? i mean.... is it 'the more the better' ? or i should put it on the walls and maybe leave the floor without a carpet and stuff to "balance" the reverd and dont over-isolate the sound and stuff, cuz once i was told it wouldnt be so good to have a FULL isolated room without ANY reverbs from the walls and stuff, i dont know, plz help!

Marcos.

Without knowing the size and configuration of your room it's going to be difficult for anyone here to help you.

If you provide a drawing or list the dimensions, someone might be able to run a room mode calculation for you and tell you what the problem frequencies are.

Check out the SAE reference material site for general discussion of room acoustics, isolation and treatment.

OK

please! give me some help!!

i dont want a PROFESSIONAL sound and perfect room and stuff, i just want my room to isolate the sound well and dont get too many reverb from the wall, so it would be better to pratice and record....

here's my room:

what do i need? u think those waved plaques are the way to go? how many should i put in here and where....

the cheaper the better i wont have money to make a pro thing u know :)

man, i just checked the site and i saw what u mean, id have to make some huge panels coverting the walls, i though they were just kinda "boards" u know.... this is weird, my room would have to get smaller.... i dunno ://
