NEED HELP WITH KORGMICRO Midi

I have my Micro hooked up to my MPC, midi. When I have the korg on midi channel one and my mpc on channel one everything sequences straight, but when I change the midi channel to two on both the korg and MPC, I cant hear what is being played on channel unless I switch them back to channel one. I want to be able to hear everything that I play at the same time. There are 16 midi channels but I cant hear them play at the same time. Can anyone tell me how to to make this possible?

It's not midi or the midi signal or the midi channel you're hearing --- it's the audio from the MPC and the Micro.

You will need at least some kind of small mixer to plug them both into if you want to hear what you're playing into the MPC.

This would be a good choice, but you could get by with this .
