hey guys I'm needing some help as I'm getting the feeling my buys may have been a waste of time....
I was going to go the route of pc recording so bought 2 things one is an audio interface scarlet solo and the other is a boss br800 digital recorder...
the boss br800 is limited to 8 tracks unless bouncing and I remembered I used to use adobe audition years ago on a much less powerful pc with no issues.
I just installed adobe audition cc 2015 and having no luck.
I have my pc set to use the br800 as an input and output... so basically an audio interface.
within adobe audition I have it set for input br800 for recording tracks then the master outputting through the br800.
when I record my first track to adobes built in metronome track when I play it back they are out of sync...... then when I disable the metronome and record the second track to the first track and playback they are also out sync....
now I thought this happened when using the onboard sound card and using an audio interface would prevent this from happening as all sound in and out is processed by the boss br800 ? am I wrong ?
my cpu is a 3.90ghz with 8gb ram installed 6 gb useable with adobe audition.
any tips on how to configure my adobe audition to record and playback in sync? or is there a better program that won't cause this problem ?
thanks
