I think ckerian is an imposter.

Nobody who owns a real business and wants it to do well would come in here and mouth off out of one side of his mouth like this while spewing insulting bravado about his business out of the other side of his mouth.......
 
It's not a real business. It's a HOBBY.

Sorry I insulted Josh and some of you but seriously, if he had studio time scheduled dont cha think he could have found out my phone number from his buddies dad in less time than it took him to post here about it? I aint that much of a control freak and frequently, as a matter of a fact, I ALWAYS let the client decide what amp they want to use, I give them options if and when i can.

Like I said, there was a lot of assumptions and thats part of the fun of this whole internet forum/BBS thing but man, I had to come defend myself. yeah, i made it worse but what the hell, bumping a four year old topic is fun.

I think you are fake. A "hobby" does not have a web site like that, or a gear list like that, or pictures like that, nor does a hobby make all those bold claims. I'm no expert, but I know enough to realize that if you are calling that a hobby then there are several people at the IRS who want to talk to you about your returns. If you are not an imposter, then answer my email and I'll shut up. After all the crap you've laid on us here in this thread, the burden is on you now.....

No you didn't. Most people with any sense of self worth would not feel a need to defend themselves at all. The more offensive is the defense, the lower the self esteem is. I haven't seen anything here to tell me you are different than that profile.

There is someone posting messages at the Home recording Forum BBS. He claims to own Crystal Clear Recording. But his messages sound more like a guy who is mkaing a total ass of himself and of your business name. Is this really someone who runs your studio?? Please visit this thread and read the messages posted by screen name "CKERIAN"........is this really how you want to represent your business to the world??

Call the IRS.i call it a hobby and I pay taxes on my hobby as a business. I have ZERO overhead cause i own my gear, own basically no outboard gear, run a 10 year old pro tools system, a 20 year old console, and have a few select MEDIOCRE mic's but yes I pay my taxes on my business. My pictures do my studio more justice than it really is BTW. my equipment list isnt much but thanks for recognizing it as semi-pro.

You dont frequent many internet forums do ya? I am all over most of em as seeker-ian or ckerian and yeah, i am pretty much hated everywhere i go.

not for my recording advice, condescending attitude, or my good looks, but for my politics.

the guy who did my web site did a really good job.

oh and if ya take pictures.. use as much cool lighting as you can, KILL teh flash, use a tripod or table, and use a long exp[osure. nothing sucks more than a flash.

I am actually admiring your 72 Grand Torino as I have a 70 Cougar myself. I assume you had the 351C in that. I LOVE the torinos and they came with 428 cobra jets as well but i am sure you'd be more upset about that if thats what it had.

I'm mildly appalled by your attitude, but I am glad in some small way that you are not a fake. Compared to some other forums I surf, you are actually rather tame.

Yeah he has a serious side but busting balls is a form of entertainment in which this bbs is notorious for having "issues" with. Point heard and understood. Yes, it did have some entertainment value.

I have one mistake I keep making.......thinking that anybody is gonna learn anything from me! LOL!! Otherwise, I shouldn't have bothered speaking up. I've learned how useless it is to speak up at Harmony Central , I dont know why this place should seem so different........

Audio engineering can harm lives and maim children if left in the wrong hands. it's beyond the comprehension of most of the "poster children" on this board and Mithra suspects Kerian is also one of them.
