Will this Macbook Pro work with Logic 9?
My question regards the right kind of computer to use for for recording. I just got Logic Studio, which runs Logic 9. Unfortunately, my current computer is kind of old and crappy, so I need to get a new one in order to run the program. This is the one I was thinking about getting:
13 Inch Macbook Pro 2.3GHz - MC700LL/A - Originally $1,199
* 2.3GHz dual-core Intel Core i5
* 4GB memory
* 320GB hard drive
* SuperDrive
* Intel HD Graphics 3000
* Built-in 7-hour battery
* Thunderbolt port (up to 10 Gbps)
* Date Announced: 2/24/11
can you please let me know if there will be any problems with this, or if it will record well? Any advice you can give is appreciated.
ps. I've been told that a Mac Mini might be the way to go, but I'd really prefer a laptop.
