Need feedback on this unfinished song

Hey guys! this is actually my first post here, but anyways here she goes

Heres a song i've been working on for a while now. I'm by NO means a professional producer, i have a small home studio, and i'm recording all guitars with a single SM57. I had an Eleven Rack, but i got rid of it, because really for the tone it gave me for what i play, it wasn't worth it. its really not good on the heavier stuff. What i'm having problems with really is getting everything to... float... I know i need to do some research on EQing and frequencies, because alot of the song doesn't blend like i want it to. But any tips, tricks, or comments are very much appreciated. Keep in mind, all the solos in this song are just improv, they are placeholders until i actually write some.

Boom and guts in the drums. Sounds like Ginger Baker's Disraeli Gears.

Lower the big guit.

Some reverb would be nice. The sound is 24'X36' American Garage. Especially on the drums. This is kind of an epic tune....the harmonic minor classical stain. Concert hall treatment might be nifty.

The solo guitar is kinda fizzy. Mod octave leads call for a cleaner thang. MHO

lower the big guit? what do you mean by that? yeah, the solos all need to be redone... and i'll try adding global reverb as well, thanks for the suggestions!! keep em comin!

i use cubase, if theres any cubase specific help people could hit me up with that would be fantastic... or if theres anything you can be specific on, like get rid of ____ frequencies on the guitars or vocals, etc etc...

the guitars don't sound in tune all of the time. More bass will fatten up the guitars and help everything sit a little better in my opinion.

Something sounds out of tune in the beginning. When the raunchy guitars come in it gets all thin and lacks any bottom end.
The vocals are awash and need to be dried out and brought out front - good vocalists need to shine. Drums too have too much reverb. In fact the whole thing may... Fabulous playing by all here but as a radio rocker I'd love to hear more of that vocalist.... Don;t need any redos AFAIC

I get the impression you think that's a bad thing, or a limiting factor. Probably 85% of all "pro" guitar tracks are recorded with a single SM57.
