need chimes sample

Hey, I want to throw some chimes in a song (once or twice) but I don't want to pay $80 for some good ones

Anyone got a sample of some chimes they can hook me up with? :D :D

Free CD sent out with the finished product to whoever can hook me up with the best chimes :o

Can you post up what you have so far so I can see if I can help ya? Requesting a "chimes sample" is pretty vague to me. Or at least explain a little more in depth what exactly your looking for?

well, what I have won't help, because it doesn't have any chimes :rolleyes:

but, what I am looking for is those things that drummers have, they run about $80 from any music store. they have about 15-30 little metal tubes hanging with fishing wire from a piece of wood.

When you run your drum stick down them, they sound real pretty. :o
here is a picture of one

it is almost a "dreamy" sound - - think of wind chimes that people have on their porches, and then think much much cooler of a sound and less anoying. :D
