i need a usb sound card that is a 4 ch direct plugin that is under 130 bucks, please help me.

Why USB?

You cannot record 4 tracks of 24bit audio with it.

i was thinking instead of installing a sound card with 4 inputs i thought the usb would be alot easier, maybe im cofused on everything.

A PCI solution will be cheaper and give you less headaches.

Although PCI options are more plentiful, you could try looking for a used M-Audio Quattro USB (MSRP $350)

4/4 I/O at 24/96 (and it easily handles 4 channels in at 24/48).

Lemme find a link... Here you go...

Sorry, wrong.
The Quattro (or any USB 1.1 device) cannot handle 4 channels of 24/96. Not enough bandwidth.
And after reading a lot of horror stories, I'd strongly advise against the Quattro. Too many people who couldn't get it to work properly.
Get PCI if you can.

I said 4 channels of 24/48... It'll handle 2 at 24/96.
