Excellent! Right price, too! Thanks! I already have mine, but this should help everyone else and make SCXD an easier amp to recommend.

Yeah, definitely. I can't wait to get mine. I was on the verge of making my own from a schematic someone posted on this forum for it.

That would've been a pain in the ass...Thankfully this came out. 20 bucks? Hell yes.
 
Is the footswitch for the SCXD somehow trick? I have a old-school footswitch, TRS plug and two buttons- no electronics in it, just switches. It worked fine on the Peavey Delta Blues and Classic 30- would it work on the SCXD?

I also have a footswitch that came with a Fender Dexlxe 112, TS plug and two buttons. Somehow it switches channel and effects on the D112. Would that work?

I would just try them, but have not bought a SCXD yet...

I'm not sure. I think someone in another thread mentioned trying out another fender pedal that had two switches and it didn't work with the SCXD. So I'm not sure, sorry.
 
it's probably just wired differently. i saw people post suggestions how to modify an existing switch or to build one. it's still just switches, i think (nothing digital), but in some other config.

Fender seems to like to use diodes in the newer footswitches to control the electronics in the amp that does the switching. I've got a footswitch that I built for a Fender "Evil" Twin that uses diode switching that is wired differently than the one for the SCXD. There was a schematic a ways back in a thread I think for the SCXD footswitch.

Has anyone actually recieved this footswitch yet or maybe just a notification that it's backordered. I played that silly game with MF for a while on an order and finally cancelled.

I have received the footswitch. It works perfect.
