is anybody familiar with the Nady SCM 900 or the SCM910?? also does anybody know if the Studio Projects B3 is decent for instruments (ac. gtr, elec gtr & basss)??

The Nady condensers, by all reports, are just another re-branded cheap Chinese mic. Like all of them, some will be much better than others, a certain percentage of them will outright suck and some of them are probably pretty good mics.
Regarding B-3, the answer is yes. It will do all of that stuff rather well. Here's the real advantage of SP. The mic was designed in the U.S, built in China, and then the Chinese quality control was double checked by Americans who answer the phone, answer their email, and will bend over backwards to help you if you have a problem with your mic. For whatever money you might save buying the Nady, you won't get that.-Cheap at twice the price.-Richie

I bought two Studio Projects B3 mic's and I like them. I owned a Nady mic at one time (I don't remember the model) but didn't like it, and I sold it.

i've only heard 1 nady mic that sounded decent.. it was the 1050 tube model i think..
