n-track aux sends, etc

heya,

i'm currently sending several tracks to an aux send in n-track, and it looks like n-track combines the original track output with whatever comes out of the aux send.

can you mute the tracks in such a way that the aux send output is the only thing that makes it into the master mix?

Yes there is a way, but it seems to me that it may be easier to send those tracks outputs to a group. Then place the effect\effects you wish to apply as an insert on that group.
As far as doing what you want with the Aux sends .... You would need to click on the Aux channel send mode button and set it to pre fader for each track that you are wishing to do this with. Then you would bring those track fader all the way down and adjust your levels via the Aux send and return faders.
