nice work here....Ashley has an great groove when it kicks in...and the vocal panning is very cool....the mug...well..hey....thats cool too...but the tunes definately ROCK!!
The only thing I would say is that I wish the drums were a bit more pronounced...and I only say that because I like drums to really help drive...but as I said...very good stuff.

"Ashley"...that song kills. Seriously cool tune. You've got some funky ass panning going on that's kinda' killing it, tho. It sounds t me like ALL the drums and the bass are panned hard left, and the git's are hard right, and the vocals just kinda' swirl between the 2 sides. In my amateur opinion, it's gonna' be next to impossible to make this sound "BIG" unless you throw something in the middle of the track... (like the bass and the drums...lol).

The song's very cool, so please don't think this is a slam. I'm thinking there's some other stuff that'll help the tune out too, but I think it's just tough to figure out what it is with the current panning.

And I'm nobody anyway, so this matters not.

....I listened to Paper cuts. ....I really like the "rehearsal studio" feel of these recordings. They sound like youre sitting outside the door of a good bands rehearsal. ....thats cool in a nostalgic kinda way. How many mics are you using on the band? ...just curious. Cool stuff man!

Hey,Gurnica,tanx for the shout!Well,all the songs were recorded liverums ,bass and one Guitar track,All drums Mic'ed w/ all sorts a shit but mostly AKG's.I think 10 in all,Then another guitar dubbed and three vox trax,Paper cut and Lost Child were sang thru and AKG and the rest thru a Senhiesser 835,both into a provocal with every effect on .IMO we rushed it cuz they were excited to have a (in their opinion) competant singer.Glad you dig it ,man.Look forward to 3 new tunes in the next month or so,maybe sooner.Yo and check out the guy who rips me in the hip hop forum,some funny shit...but he's right.LAter On...

must be sandpaper, cuz it's grinding down my face Drums sound good... aw man this has that old Ozzy feel, plus some Born To Be Wild Steppenwulf...the solo's badass... and easy on yourself prettyboy... you have that pissed-off, Eddie Vedder look -- people know you're the l.s. just by looking. Great rock-n-roll. Hook up w/sam, steal his recording secrets & some of his gear...maybe some grass & jacob's ladder recording quality will _jump_

Ok, I listened to "Ashley", it's a cool song. I'm not too crazy about the drum panning. And the bass on the left ain't a good idea either for me. But I guess I'm too standardized (is it a word?) on these things. Or maybe I'm too conservative... Or maybe you're more conservative, since I think the older recordings used these kind of panning things. Very Ozzyish vocals at places, and in a cool way. It's good to see yet another person appreciate him (well, I'm not sure if you appreciate him, but still it sure sounds like it )...

...And "Papercut". That intro tricked my ears I thought it was gonna go on the off-beat (or on-beat.. I dunno ).. I always like those kind of things. The mix is muddy but definitely enough for demo quality. The kick drum is weird since it sounds like it has an annoying delay on the left. The solo is too distant. Should be louder, but I dunno.. This sounds more like a demo anyway. The performance is solid and the vocals are my favourite part here. Good job.
