Tascam DP-01FX menu stuck on home page (no loading, no stop function)

My tascam DP-01FX won't let me load anything from the menu it's stuck on home page and if I push play I can't stop
Can't get My tascam DP-01FX load anything from the menu and if I push play I can't get it to stop and doth a and b assign buttons are on
 
Power the unit down. Simultaneously hold down the "track edit" button and the "shut down" button while rebooting the machine. Initialize for a factory reset. There is also a reformat disk function that may also be useful. Of course, caution when reformatting drives as obviously all recording material will be lost. Also, if the machine is really tangled, initialization could (although shouldn't) cause a loss of data as well.
