My setup help

ok i have The Delta 44 sound card connected to my pc. im using The Yamaha Mg12/4 Mixer. And i have Audio tech 4 piece drum mics but i dunno how to hook my mixer up to the delta? and how can i hook 4 chanels from the mixer to the delta? please help!

you run 4 1/4" cables from the outputs of the mixer to the 4 1/4" jacks on the delta inputs.

Hey that's the same setup I've got.

There are several ways you can do it, but here's what I do.

Plug the mics into mixer channels 1 - 4.

Pan channels 1 & 3 hard left, and pan channels 2 & 4 hard right.

Push the white buttons on the bottom of channels 1 & 2 so they light up. On channels 3 & 4 leave the white buttons off & push the Group 1-2 buttons.

Plug 2 cables into your Stereo Out jacks on the back of the mixer (either xlr or 1/4"), and plug the other ends into the 1st 2 inputs of the delta 44.
Plug another 2 1/4" cables into the Group Out jacks on the mixer, with the other ends going into inputs 3 & 4 of the delta 44.

Now you have mixer channels 1 - 4 routed to delta inputs 1 - 4

also when i play back on my recordiings there is static and cracks, its not the settings on my soundcard..im running a 300 mhz 128 ram i believe.

Upgrade your computer...

I'd say you need at least 750 MHz 256 MB RAM.
I made do with that for a long time...
Though, I just upgraded to a 2.2 GHz 512 MB...
