I disagree. There's no harm in having one and worst case scenario you build your fan base/exposure.

I don't think it's hurting you. If you use it for music, it's another place where someone can enjoy your music. I think it can do more good than bad.

I really dislike MySpace. I use Firefox to browse the web and have installed several extensions to disable all of the extra crap that people put on their MySpace pages so that it loads quickly. Unfortunately some venues book through MySpace and the kids are still into it and that's where the money is in music.
