the song is pretty good

the only thing is the snare seems to cut right through everything, its really loud and seems like you may have added too much reverb

also i might try bringing the vocals up a bit

has it been triggered or drumagogged? its hard to tell with the shitty mp3 and then it fades out..

Mmmm I like that snare sound, but it is too loud. Otherwise sounds good

the snare and kick sound very triggered to me. and are the vocals pitch corrected? i can hear some strange vibratos in there. the guitars and bass sound great. perfect for this genre. the snare sound and kick sound work as well, its just the constant velocity and too perfect timing that gets to me when triggering. but the mix sounds very very good.

Drums are a bit loud, however, this is a good recording & mix.
So THIS is EMO?
Sounds like pop punk a la Greenday to me.
I thought EMO had merged with GOTH so that they became GEMOOTH.
Or has it subsumed any genre that wears black nail polish?
Ah, just kidding - go back to my 1st sentence please.

fala - great production - I think the drums are a bit too up front also but only a bit. The panning you have is great - the guitar sits well on it own side. Good vocal effects/levels. Catchy song - sounds like Green Day as mentioned by rayc...

:) :D :) :D

Yea, right around 43 seconds it sounds a bit weird. It could be the delay too. I agree with what everyone else says as well, regarding vocal level and snare level.

I would bring up the singing a bit. And as all the others are telling you, try to bring down the snare/kick pretty much... This is a killer song!

If you can: layer those guitars like mad you'll get a much fatter sound ;)
