I think maybe we need to do Jamfest next summer and get SluiCe to go too.

Damn straight! On Mustafa Salaam's behalf, you, Lt. Bob, and SLuiCe's attendance has now been deemed MANDATORY

I've been kicking myself in the ass for not going this year. I mean it was literally only about 4-5 hours drive away for me. I drive farther to fish for trout! If I had known how fun it was going to be I'd have wormed my way out of whatever it was I had to do that weekend! Next year for sure. Would love to tip a few back with you monkeys. :)

Hey that was good. It sounded pretty good to for live situtation. My "studio" mixes might be worse! :)

Where's your vocals?! :)

Were you drinking again?! ;) :p  :D

That sound brought back memories of local bars and when they had bands. You get a well defined mix. What exactly is your whole set-up and mixing process? Thanks Walter

Well in that band we're using two trapezoid cabs with 2-15" speakers and a horn in each one. I have Peavey drivers on the horns....the 22XT's.
I'm driving it with a Mackie 808M.
The bass player was using a Gallien Kruger thru 4-10's and I was using an Ampeg V-2 thru 3-10's.
There really was no mixing process......I just stuck a SM-57 at each end of the stage with both of them aimed at the kick drum. Both mics were at the very ends of the stage. Then I did run it thru an EQ before I posted it.

God would that be great......the whole crew there? If that happens I'm there.

Lt. Bob,

Great jammy, the bass is relentless!!

One question: How did you make your sax sound like a guitar?

Nice to hear a really good live recording, hope throwing down those Shures didn't wear you out!!

New band sounds really good, just keep an eye on your wallet!

Great sound!!

GT

I got real deep listenin with you in that solo, feel....... deep enough I forgot you're a reed licker :)

gotta love them GK`s . I use a GK and 4x10 , and a fender with a 4 x10. That guy is tasteful.
