I've had more humbucker guitars, but some years back, I added several single coils. Each has a different sound, and a different feel. I got good deals on 3 of them, and the Melancon was one of those guitars that I went 4 or 5 months thinking about buying until I decided the go for it.

Whitey. This is a Frankenstrat. 2016 American body, MZ neck, Seymour Duncan SH 1,3,5 pups.

EDIT: The body is 2018. Just found the receipt.

This was my very first Strat. The original Fender pickups sucked. I put in these Duncans.

This is my favorite Tele. Stock except for the pickguard. My wife painted the pickguard on Whitey and the Tele. It doesn't show well in the pics, but it's gold hardware.

This gal is sweeter than honey! My Taylor 324ce. She looks like a plain Jane, but she's hot to go.
