My ideas for setup

Hey i have just had a room made avaliable to me to make my own, so i thought about a small studio setup. Ive not much to spend although soundproofing etc is not a problem as i have friends who can deal with that as they are in the building trade, but the technical side is a bit alien to me. What do you think of the image i made as a setup. The gear is not specific it is just standing in for a similar peice of equipment!! I would really apreciate your opinions and ideas for a first studio.

That looks pretty much like my setup, but I run the PC back to the board and send my monitors out of the board. I do have a set of speakers coming out of the PC for reference.
Congrats on the new space, I am sure you will be there tonight, lol.
