Monitors- polks real nice but its not monitors
Im pretty sure you do hip hop- so a good vocal mic and pre would be something to look foward to- 58's a real nice mic- mostly used on stage though- large diapham condensor (LD) and a decent pre w/ phantom power to run it- you could probably do all the above for less than a grand

Well....What are trying to do...What kind of sound card do you have. What kind of music are we talking about, and of the stuff you have recorded so far, what do you dislike most about the sound your getting?

1. ^ i'm hiphop/rap/underground rap.
2. what im trying to do? is i'm trying to make a decent quality sounding album, i'm trying to better my quality.

4. what i dislike, is the "s' sound at the end of my words, the hiss, the stuffyness of vocals.
5. the sound im trying to get is clear/crispy/natural/
