I didn't process anything on the "no more"...I just sang it twice, it's simply doubled. In fact, that's probably the one part in the song where I REMOVED all processing.
Shows you what I know about processing. I'm learning. I thought the double "no more"s and the fading scream sounded a little processed and well polished. And I wanted to use the joke about "Dirty water making you use more FX". :)

Thanx 7. Don't ask too many questions, though, because I don't remember how I do half the things that end up on my tunes. And I never write it down...LOL. :)

Bubba, well, you're half right. The screams are obviously very processed. But all that was is cranking up the decay on a big room reverb.

Chris, you're on dial-up? It must have taken you a year and a half to get those Wav files!!!

Dial-up at home. Broadband at work. I can get stuff fast when I need to.

Download was interupted after I went to bed. I'll grab it tomorrow at work.

This ones my favorite ive heard so far. Love the heavy guitar work. Drums sound good to me, i can see how some extra snap on the snare might help. Vocals sound great in my opinion. Love the effects on the vocals at the 2 minute mark or so. And the vox at 3:15..thats awesome. Not much from the mixing aspect i can really offer, not quite there myself but i can hear the difference in your mixes even in the short time ive been listening. Great work

take care

Hey Rami, great song. Very hot guitar and drums. The gtr at 3:55... very nice line, also the leap at 2:26. I like the use of verb on the tune.

Tim
Thanx a million, Tim. That 3:55 line was actually a little choppier than I would have liked it. I'm not sure how a real guitar player would have played it. I picked every note, whereas I probably should have hammered off a few of those notes. Thanx alot.

Gbav...Thanx alot for the comments. How can you not improve with the wealth of talent and people willing to share their knowledge in this place. I'm just a sponge around here.

Yeah I'd say this song is one of my favorites from you :D The song rocks and that soft part is classic. It's hard to pick favorites, but if some guy stormed in right now with a sword saying "WHAT ARE YOUR FAVORITE RAMI TRACKS!?!?" I'd probably say this one and "Children Left Behind" I love the feel you have on that one. Good stuff

Guy with a sword? Llamas? Snakes? Dogs? Where do you live exactly? I know...you're Gandalf from Middle Earth!!!! I knew it!!!

But then again...I'm just a mutant hamster in overalls...so you never know.

I said that with a great deal of affection, you know... :D :D

Man, this really make me laugh. Not just a chuckle. Laugh. Loud.

I mean what the heck, are RAMI fans sword wielding maniacs or do you think it could be RAMI himself in disguise? We already know he has mutant powers. (Sorry RAMI, coudln't resist) :p

Hey love the drum tracks, by the way. Can't figure out what to play with it but man, it is so different from a boom-chuck-boom-chuck drum machine sound. The feel of the intensity building on certain parts and so on. It's really cool.

People....they're the worst.

Sure, thanks man! Oh did I say, "thanks"? :p

Haha Rami/Bubba, my other main hobby is writing fiction... so I think I'm starting to live in my own fantasy world :D :D

Rami, I heard they edited out the scene where Gandalf meets the band of evil hamsters and takes them apart like a cheap watch. We'll try not to think about that ;)

That's cool; those are some pretty damned big hamsters... :) And the overalls are Kevlar®...

Very good man, I really like the side-sticking, it sounds perfect! (perfect being a subjective term, I suppose, but still...... ) Bass sounds great, the kick is awesome, the triplet acccents are great, same old, same old, great stuff!! The quiet part @ 1:30 and the part @ 2:00 with the effect-y vocals make me want to hear an accordian pop in. :D ;) Nice job, I love it!

Thanx alot Tourette...I appreciate all your comments...but I don't know how to break the news to you...There won't be any accordion added to this song...:)

Accordion must be good though, it helped me nab last place or "The Loser Prize" in the surf rumble :D I'd rethink that if I were you :)

Well at least you got to try out. I downloaded the surf rumble music and got working on it and casually kept checking the thread too. By the time, I had figure out the base chord progression on the music and started getting ideas, I saw the posting on the thread that said that it was already over. Needless to say, at that point it didn't even give me an oppurtunity to turn around and say "wait for my entry!" :)

Next time, maybe! :)

That's too bad. You should have been like me then... I got in there on the last night and never bothered figuring out the chord progression PLUS my guitar was broken. So I pulled out trumpet, harmonica, and accordion... all instruments I don't play/or can't play anymore. Plus I was the only one singing over it. All together that sums up to "The Loser Prize" I take pride in being that bad

Well, the base chord progression didn't take all that long. Maybe a couple of hours, 'coz I was distraced in the middle with reading the board.

Used to take me a whole day just figuring out a song, sometimes. Well just the base chords, not the whole song and arrangement. That's something I don't really do. Takes too much time and why do I want to learn how XYZ played it. I'll play it my way thank you very much. It wasn't too long ago actually that I decided to not download the chords off the net and to try to figure them out myself. Whenever I get stuck with the guitar and after trying different chords, nothing seems to work, I just walk on over to the keyboard (it's always on), and just start banging out the tune and then it's easy figuring out the chords. Also you can hear if the chords merges with the overall sound more clearly.

I guess it's more a matter of who put it together badly.
