Thanks for the reply!
No problem about the whole thread thing.
I did notice that it had been sorta hijacked, but that's ok. I almost even said something at one point, just because the majority of the posts were beginning to be about the whole super critic thing, and nothing about the submission. hehe.
I've been watching all of the proceedings, and have just found that I would say nothing to any of it. If he, or anybody else, had flamed my song, I wouldn't even have replied to it, because to me, it just doesn't matter. I'm able to separate the wheat from the chaff, and like on all boards everywhere, the only thing that keeps them going is the responses, so I just leave that stuff alone. I posted about something similar to that one time on this BBS, and then realized that it just wasn't worth it.
At any rate, thanks for the reply. My wife's favorite parts of the songs are the b/g vox, and it's probably more because I've never put b/g's into a song before. hehe. I like the overall feel of what it is, too, and I'm glad that I've gotten such good critiques from everybody here about what I can do to improve the parts of the song that need improving. I've already changed the way that I play, and it's working wonderfully, thanks to none other than a super critic's suggestion about the way I attack the strings. Everybody elses suggestions are working out great, too, and after a bit more experimenting, I'm hoping to re-record this song soon, and post the new results and see what you all think!
Although, my wife's due date is TOMORROW, (is this baby ever going to get here?!?!?!,) so it might be put off for a while so I can take a couple weeks off of work and help out.
Thanks again to all!
