Kenny - thank you very much for your kind offer! I've just bought a new MOTU interface so I will hang fire on purchases for the time being, but I will come back to you next time I'm pricing things up from the States.
As a point of interest - the Yamaha i88x costs around £700 in the UK, and around £220 ($399) in the States! That's less than the TRADE price over here!
I was just going to suggest the same idea. I've shipped a few things of late to England and Europe. FMR lists the weight of the RNLA @ 2lbs. I'm thinking with packaging at most it weighs 4 or 5 lbs. From where I'm at I could ship a RNLA to England for between $28-$35.75(air parcel & Global Express) and $32-$38.75. If I remember right the lowest price I've seen in the States on a RNLA is $225. I believe that is with free shipping. So a little quick math suggests a hop skip and a jump past customs = $3 bucks over suggest retail. I imagine a lot of people would do that deal. There is the slight chance it gets caught up in customs though. Generally you have to lie about the value to avoid extra charges or eternal delays.
