This song frightens me ... ;)
Is that you looped on the drums?, I heard one of your other tunes and you kick ass on drums.
I like the bass/drum groove alot ... but the rest is just plain freaky. Was there a rap over this? ... cause it sounds like we hear a second of it at 1:15 ... ?
Cool groove, man ... I like it.

Nice jam. That Frankenstein lead line really caught my attention. Marilyn's too!

I liked this a lot. It's got a real cool groove. If I had any complaint (and I really don't), I think the drums/bass could have been boosted just a hair. Not too much though. I'm nitpicking, it sounds really good.

Thanks for the listen and comments guys.

Gibs, Thanks again for yet another review. u da man!

BigKahuna, Yeah thats me on the kit, thanks for the compliment. And Yes, I took that groove from a song that had some raps on it. I posted the full version of that song (CrimeTime) out on IDrive (Kaputo). But I'm really starting to hate that site now, with all those glitchy error messages.

drstawl, Thanks man! When we first recorded the band on the 4track, we recorded over some self-help casette tape. After the re-recording onto my computer, there was that guys chipmunk voice,(after the last song on the tape) talking a hundred miles an hour(now with fx and compression on it). So I cut it out to a new file and slowed it down to hear what he was saying. Something about "What the zen masters say" and "Dont go to your parents with that, because they didnt do it intentionaly". So I used it in my experiment. Then there is the "Blow-into-the-beer-bottle sound and laugh-into-the-pa".

CMiller, Damn glad u like it bro. Yeah, I think some of the other sounds were mabey stuck out too much. I have only one environment to mix and listen to, and thats my headphones. (dont shoot me!).

Hopefully after next weekend I'll finally get to try out my new mics and sub-mixer for the drums. I try to post something for review soon. Thanks again everyone!

(I love this place!)

Don't sweat it, I really had to search for something to be negative about! It sounds great man.

How far behind am I?

Levels: All cool there.

Mix: Seems a little muddy and not too much high end at all. Some of that is probably the encoder and bit-rate, but I think some of it is the mix itself. (I just re-read how you transferred some of it... it makes more sense now).

Loved that tight snare, some more high-end there might be cool. That's the kind of *SNAP* I constantly try to get with little success. I bet it has to do with knowing how to tune the darn thing :D. I like the groove. I think you should extend it with some sort of change, and then come back.
