My first condensor

I so far have a shure drum mic package and 2 sm57's...right now it seems i need a condensor...the 57's are for guitar cab micing and the drum package is for drums obviously, so what i really need is a decent mic for doing acoustic recording and lead vocals....can i get away with recording acoustic with one mic, or should i get two mxl 603's and then get an mxl v67g for vocals? or should i just get one studio projects B1 or one mxl v67g?...and replies welcome
 
I like the idea of 2 SDs for overheads/acoustic and 1 SD for vocals. The choices depends on your budget though.
 
I want an LD for vocals so would i get the Mxlv67g or the studio projects B1, they cost the same

Also:If i got this LD mic for vocals first would it be at least decent for the acoustic?

Also: of the three mics i listed (v67g,B1, and 603) which one would i use if i wanted to replace the far mic on my guitar cab, or should i just keep using the 57
 
WOW thanks scrubs that was a really helpful site....I think the vocals are more important to me so id get the v67g....if i got that should i replace my sm57 that is far away from my guitar cab with it? or should i just keep using the two 57's?

How far away? Dynamics are not generally good room mics. A 57 might work o.k. up to a couple of feet away, but not more than that. A condenser (either cardioid or omni pattern) would be better. You could use the v67g as a room/distant mic, but I don't have one, so I couldn't say how it would sound.
