I like the feel of this track! Pretty cool.
I think the lead guitar you have going on the left is a bit too loud, as it sorta makes the mix feel lopsided. Also, the vocals are quite blurry due to the reverb. If you want that reverb, maybe you could try a dynamic return? Sidechaining a comp on the reverb return to the vocals.

Hi sixer2007. Many thanks for your comments. I'll try your ideas and get back here soon. Reverb always seems to be an issue with me..cant get enough lol..

Yeah, and for that style, I think you're headed in a good direction. Do you EQ your reverb returns at all? If not, you will often end up with a muddy mess, at least from my experience. I think reverbs almost always benefit from a HPF, and sometimes there's some muddiness in the low mids around 400 or so that can be done without.
I'd love to hear an update when you have one!

I use ableton live to record and just drop a reverb effect onto the track, which I can then tweak. No need to send/return unless I run out of effects instances allowed, you know? Anyway, I'll dig out the master and see what I can do. Many thanks sixer! Happy New Year!

This has a bit of a classic blues rock vibe going with a more modern sheen.
The lead licks do pull the track across to one side.
Have you considered panning the lead & vocals about 10 - 15% away from centre - opposite each other when they're happening together & more centred when "soloing"?
Nice job regardless.

HI Ray, sounds like a good idea, many thanks. I do need to try to do more hands-on panning in the future. I'm usually flat out getting this far in the mix lol Happy New Year!
