is this a good deal for this mic? i've searched around and found amny threads prasing it for use on vocals. i will probably be using as a vocal and acoustic guitar mic.

I have seen the mic for $69 and the shock mount can be had for $25. The foam windscreen you will never use. So your paying for a $45 case.

This is the 'green' one. I've seen the 'black' one for $69 but not the green one. This is the one that was going for like $150 just a few months ago. It goes for $99 these days.

A few months back Sam Ash was selling the V67G for $69. I looked around and you are right, the lowest price now is $99.

I don't know, I would probably buy it all separate and use the $15 on a cable.

Yeah, the case is nice I suppose but depends on your needs. I agree with you that if you add up the components of these 'packages' it's not as big a deal as one might first think.

If you are int he market for a V67G, I think this would be a very good buy. Looks like a nice case and the foam is custom cut for the components. My KSM32 came in a similar setup and I always feel comfortable storing and transporting the mic in that case. If I were looking to get a V67G, this is exactly how I would like to buy it.

Just got my V67G, shockmount and cable (Mogami) from American Musical. I thought it would come with the case for $145. It didn't - bummer. At least I ordered enough not to pay shipping. Great looking mic. Can't wait to try it out.
